Blasted Chicken

Prepare a whole fryer chicken (about 4 pounds is best) by washing it and rubbing a seasoning on it that you prefer. Place it in a baking pan about 9 x 13 inches that has been sprayed with Pam or something similar. Place the chicken breast side down in a 425 degree preheated oven. Center the chicken in the baking dish and DO NOT cover it. DO NOT open the oven door once you put it in to bake until 1 hour and 15 minutes has elapsed. Take it out and let it set about 10 minutes and take the chicken apart. It will be very brown and the juiciest chicken.
